Stretch Class.
What is a Stretch Class?
Stretch Class is a muscle balancing class which will make all your other exercises and classes easier. PNF stretching is combined with structured breathing to relax the muscles to greater length. This class is highly recommended if you need to be flexible for other activities e.g. athletes, Pilates practitioners and also as a treatment modality for musculo-skeletal problems such as back pain.
Who will benefit from the Stretch Class?
You will benefit from Stretch classes if you:
- have biomechanical problems e.g. back, neck, knee, shoulder etc.
- have a poor range of movement at any joint
- have muscle tightness related injury/pain e.g. ITB tightness causing knee pain
- wish to increase flexibility
- need to increase flexibility for a specific event e.g. a sport or Pilates
- need to improve your posture
