Hi All,

Brian and I had a wonderful week away in Norfolk Island. We hired bikes and rode up hill and down dale (should I say “gasped” up hill?!), and hired scuba gear, went on the fish fry and saw the incredible sunset, went out deep sea fishing and caught  some monster trumpeter (and ate the monster trumpeter yum, yum) and generally enjoyed each others company. It was a lovely place to visit and if any of you are thinking of going we can recommend a very nice stand-alone cabin where you will have a good view and all the mod-cons you need if you like to do your own cooking.

This week we have Libby featured as the Green Apple team member you might like to know more about. Libby is a wonderful person to work with for many reasons — her capacity for wanting to learn and then to put it into practice is a unsurpassed. When I first met Libby I could see how genuine her interest was and how intent she was to help adults stay as functional, and happy, as possible through appropriate physical activity. After 2 years at the Green Apple Libby continues to provide the high level of care (and passion) which are the qualities I look for when I select a staff member for the Green Apple team.

The whole Green Apple Team will be doing their Resuscitation Friday night from 7.30 — 9.30pm. We do this annually to keep our skills and knowledge up to date.
