Hi All
Have you ever wondered what Tai Chi is all about? You will have the opportunity to find out if you come on the Exhibition Day holiday, Wednesday August 14 at 8:45am, because Michelle will be taking a Tai Chi class for anyone who is able to attend. Michelle usually does her Tai Chi class on Tuesday at 10.30am and Wednesday evening at 5:45pm. Since it will be a public holiday and we will be open from 6 am till 10 am only, Michelle has offered to come in and provide a class for her regulars and anyone else who would like to try it.We will have a sign on the Reception noticeboard for you to put your name on if you would like to attend.
During the next three weeks Katrina, the Legend, will be travelling way up north and unable to do her usual classes. Loretta would normally stand in for Katrina however she is unable to do any physical activity during this time and we plan to provide Video classes for a few sessions. Check the Reception noticeboard for the classes concerned. Good news however for “steppers”. Brian has offered to take Loretta’s Step Class at 9am Tuesday and if you have ever attended his regular Step Class on Mondays at 6am, you know you will be in for a treat.
Regarding the Videos and the TV screen and the Sound system connection in the Group class area upstairs, I am relieved to tell you that it is working much better now. This is thanks to Nessa, and her “computer whiz” husband Paul. Brian was having constant problems with the set up and Paul came to the rescue! So video classes may not be your choice to replace Loretta and Katrina for the next three weeks but I hope you will embrace the change and “just do it”.

I am so appreciative of you Linda! Any member who helps with social connection opportunities for other Green Apples is showing wonderful community spirit. And we are a wonderful community at Green Apple, aren’t we!
