Hello Fellow Green Apples
Another year of hitting the ground running! I was able to complete a lot of preparation for 2026 and do a lot of culling between Christmas and New Year which has been very satisfying. Not very “Christmassy” but it was good use of time that has given me more peace of mind going into the New Year!
Some general housekeeping information to keep you in the loop about what is going on behind the scenes. All the floor surfaces in the Centre, the Pilates Studio and the Clinic were cleaned thoroughly by our new Carpet Cleaning crew who came all the way from the Gold Coast to do the job. We are very pleased with the outcome and have organised to have this done at set times through the year. New garden panels have finally been installed to replace the tatty grey panels and Brian and John had done a great job with this.
During the hours we were not open over Christmas, John has made really good use of his time doing big tasks we can’t do during business hours when we have you onsite. The very messy job of gurneying the roof over the Fitball and Balance area and the external stairs, and painting the rails on external stairway, and re-marking the external steps for safety purposes have been completed. Well done and thanks John.
Exercise physiologist, Ben, had a good little break over the festive season while Exercise Physiologists Charlie and Jesse continued with the training and onboarding of our new team members, Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Brayden Hanlon, and our new Exercise Professional, Imogen Ryan. See more information about Brayden and Imogen in the middle column of this newsletter.
Charlie and Jesse also had project time to spend on our specialised VALD assessment protocol and delivery which will be invaluable this year. Some of you will already have had experience with this amazing technology and are already benefitting from the very specific information that your particular Allied Health practitioner (our medical team comprises of Charlie, Ben, Bridie, Jesse and Brayden) has been able to provide for you.
Jesse will be leaving us by February 21 however he is making the absolute most of his time while he is with us and I really appreciate this. Jesse is getting married on February 22 and has been chosen to participate in a graduate program specialising in musculoskeletal conditions and treatment.
To celebrate Brian turning 76 on February 17, we’re heading off on an 11-day cruise from January 22. Not long now!
Cheers
