There are so many success stories within Green Apple and we are showcasing another inspirational one on the front page today. Many of you will have seen this member doing his exercises under the supervision of an exercise physiologist, usually Ben currently. This member, Ian Lewis (well supported by his wife Anita) tries so hard and is doing so well. We chose Ian this week because so many members have made a comment about how much they can see Ian is improving and they think it truly wonderful. Also on the front page you will see the news about the Official Launch of the Pilates Reformer program which will be provided in our new Green Apple Studio next week. Suzie and Nathan have been working on this service for sometime, and now that Brian has completed the renovations, it will finally become reality. Well done Brian, Suzzy and Nathan for all the hard work done behind the scenes!
The official opening will be held on Tuesday July 23 from 9 till 11am. It will commence at 9am with a short presentation explaining what Pilates Reformer exercise is all about, and what will be available as a service. This will be followed by 15 minute supervised sessions on the Reformer under the guidance of exercise physiologists Nathan and Suzzy. We plan to put up a notice in Reception which will provide you with the times available for you to choose the time you would like to come. These mini-session trials are preferably for members (and interested friends/family) who have never used a Reformer. We want to provide the opportunity to people, new to this activity, to experience what it feels like. You will see that the mini-sessions are set up for two people at a time. If you have a friend who is interested in giving it a go, book your time together to make it more fun! We actually have three Reformers so Nathan and Suzzy can decide on the day whether they will include a third person in any particular mini-session.
There will also be a another notice up to ask for Expressions of Interest in just coming along to check it all out, to observe and ask any questions you have. This list is to let us know how many people might turn up so if we have a cuppa planned we have some idea of what we need to provide. Nessa will be hostess of this, supporting Nathan and Suzzy because they will be busy.
Pilates is an exercise mode has a wide application. At the end of the day it can be used for anyone. We hope to see lots of you here!
