- Owned and managed the Green Apple since 1979
My vision has been to have an integrated service of allied health, natural therapy and fitness practices under one umbrella and it is all happening. For over 30 years I have identified people who could help with this vision, and the Green Apple team is the end result. Each team member has been specially chosen because of their attitude and passion.
My role is to identify community needs and our business direction to mentor staff, to interview new people and decide where to start, what to dom who to see and to remain current with my clinical massage practice.

I am multi-skilled and multi-tasked daily. This includes
- Purchasing equipment
- Designing and maintaining equipment
- And I am responsible for all renovations at the Centre
As a qualified registered Fitness Professional you may see me
- At Reception
- Taking a Stretch or Step Class
- Or generally chatting with members.

- On a Thursday afternoon I take Steady Steps Falls Prevention Program — this is such a rewarding program to be a part of.

I am Victoria's Personal Assistant and responsible for all the admin aspects of the business including the advertising and promotional areas. I am also a fully qualified regisitered Fitness Professional and you will see me in several places
- My Cave (or what looks like the Clinic Reception desk)
- Main Reception
- Taking Forever Active Classes occasionally
- Writing Programmes
- Assessing and Monitoring new members
- Working out on the Power Plate and in the gym
I have a wacky sense of humour so I hope I can share that with you.

Some of the services I offer include I am known as Mistress Sparkle and responsible for keeping everyone on their toes to deliver Best Practice on the gym floor.
I am involved in many activities, including
- Aerobic class : From low impact to high energy.
- Circuit class: Great cardiovascular workout
- Pilates: A good postural workout using core stability muscles.
- Kai-Bo: Combination of punches & kicks to music. A great stress buster!
- Urban rebounder : Workout on mini trampoline. Great for balance, core stability and co-ordination---and fun!
- Program designing: I write personal programs to assist gym members in achieving their goals.
- Personal Training: The benefits of personal training are
(1) Correct technique,
(2) To ensure you are working effectively to achieve your goals and
(3) To access my passion and my knowledge accrued over the past 30 years

I feel very strongly about what we are delivering here at the Green Apple. I am a part of an integrated and supportive team and we all pool our various strengths to make it a very special place. Some of my responsiblities include
- Greeting and meeting at Reception
- Running Forever Active and Boxing classes
- Designing new programmes every 8 weeks for members.
- Personal Training whether it be cardio, strength, Power-Plate or performing Maltron Tests.
I also keep a vigilent eye on the cleanliness of the Green Apple to keep it an inviting place to exercise in.

My roles at the centre vary from:
- Substantial admin duties,
- Aquarobics Instructor,
- Forever Active Class Leader,
- Programme writing and monitoring, and
- Personal Training
So if you are looking for a programme or a workout with a difference book in to see me. I can help jazz up your workouts to reach your Important goals, whether it be to help with a specific sport or to just have fun trying out different activities -- I’m the girl to see.

I think my role is very significant and meaningful because I often manage Reception and this requires a real desire to look after the staff who are really busy looking after people, and to llok after members by listening, dealing with anything that comes up, and to keep smiling and happy and enjoying being at the Green Apple.

- I fill in for CV Express, Step, Circuit and Urban Classes.
You will see me at Reception and on the gym floor where I enjoy designing new programmes. Since members have a programme review every 8 weeks, I am able to be creative and help with motivation.

Exercise Physiologist
I design gym or home based exercise programs for people with chronic and complex health concerns. This may be you if you have diabetes, heart problems, arthritis, osteoporosis or pain and have been Medicare funded for sessions at The Green Apple through a GP referral or through the Department of Veteran Affairs’ (DVA) or from Work Cover.

My main role is to liaise with doctors and their staff to fully inform them of the specialty services we have on offer at the Green Apple, designed to be of benefit both to their practices and certainly to enhance the lives f those patients who are committed to leading active and full lives into their senior years.

I have been a full timer at the Green Apple and now attend uni , third year teaching. Now I work a few hours each week as an assistant to Shirley, the Health Service Facilitator. We make calls to people referred by doctors who need appointments to start their journey here.

I am responsible for the Children's Activity Room team and we keep little people occupied while parents and grandparents do their exercise or see the physio, have a massage treatment or go to a Green Apple course. My CAR team is wonderful to work with and provide great care.
