Hi to all Green Apples
This is a lovely photo of Jesse, and his long-time love Ally, at their wedding ceremony at Maleny on the Sunshine Coast on Saturday, February 21. I know we all wish them both a wonderful life-long union.
I’d like to share a little story about Jesse. From the moment he arrived at Green Apple, we discovered that his handwriting was totally illegible and it was something that had not been necessary during his years at school and five years at uni. We all, including Jesse, used to laugh about it.
On Jesse’s last day he placed two envelopes into my in-basket, one to Brian and one to me. When we opened the envelopes we discovered labours of love, special hand-written messages in Jesse’s distinctive writing, obviously done very deliberately to remain legible. I was deeply touched by this, knowing how much easier it would’ve been for him to type or dictate something to leave us. Jesse had his wedding pending that weekend, yet he had made this very thoughtful effort. So special!
My sister Hilary returns to Brisbane on March 10 and since she has completed her qualifications to deliver classes and to design programs for what is called “healthy populations”, we thought it might be fun to have her deliver a couple of classes while she is here.
Our plan is for Hilary to take a Circuit class on Sunday, March 15 and Sunday, March 22 at 4pm. Hilary is looking forward to catching up with you again and hopes you will come and join her. We will put notices up in Reception about these classes. Add your name if you plan to come.
If you would like to have a complimentary session with Hilary, I can organise some appointment times when she will be available. Let me know personally if this interests you. My email is [email protected]
Cheers
