We have a great new Group Class available on Friday at 9am now. We started this class on Friday, February 6. What is it? And who is it for?
To meet members’ requests, this new class is an additional Step Class and it will be delivered by Katrina, and occasionally by Loretta who regularly delivers the Step Class we have on Tuesdays at 9am.
The Class is “Step with a difference” because it is open to you if you haven’t done this type of activity before and you are looking for a change, if you want to have some fun, if you like moving to music, and you want to work at a pace you feel comfortable with.
To make sure our regular Steppers are able to get their usual good workout, they will be stepping up and down on the step-height they usually use. However, any “new-to-class” people can do all the stepping exercises on the floor, more like a basic aerobic activity.
I encourage you to give it a go. If you can walk up the stairs with confidence you will be capable to participate. And the only way you will find out if it will add some fun and colour to your 2026 exercise options will be to bite the bullet and give it a go.
Both Katrina and Loretta will be there at 9am Friday 13th February to make you welcome. Katrina will deliver the class, and Loretta will work with any new participants. Be prepared to have a party!
Thank you for the kind words about the Australia Day photo of Brian and me on the Crown Princess. We had a lovely low-key 10 days, exercising, eating, reading, catching up with each other which is key when you have busy lives.
