Hello Green Apples,
The weather is cooling down quickly as we head into winter, and one of the best ways to stay warm is to come into the Green Apple and enjoy your exercise program or one of our many group classes. Even our Aqua classes are a great option—the pool is heated and comfortable, just remember to rug up warmly afterwards!
In this edition of The Weekly Bite, we have some interesting and important topics to share with you.
Support the Removal of GST on Exercise Physiology Services
The Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) is advocating for the removal of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) from Exercise Physiology services, which currently attract a 10% tax. ESSA believes Exercise Physiology is an essential healthcare service and should be included on the list of GST-exempt health services.
To support this initiative, ESSA is launching a petition to the Australian Senate, aiming to improve affordability and access to Exercise Physiology services for all Australians.
