Hello Everyone,
Victoria has asked me to write something for this week’s Newsletter – here is my contribution.
The Journey of Life is not just about physical health; it includes the emotional and spiritual being as well. As antenatal care is crucial for pregnant women, Aged Care Management is essential for us as we age. This encompasses mental as well as physical health as it allows for a better and greater quality of life.
I see this every day when I am at the GA in my reception role, as well as when I am doing my own workout in the gym. It makes me so happy to see our members doing their exercises, no matter the weather because I know how easy it is to make excuses and not exercise.
I have managed to find the time to chat with a few members about their journey here with us. For many gym members, these sessions are more than just a workout—they’re a lifeline.
Attendance at exercise classes, including Aqua classes, offer a unique blend of physical movement and social connection. But it’s the friendships formed, the shared smiles, and the post-class coffee catch-ups that truly make an impact.
When gym members face family challenges—whether it’s illness, loss, or relationship strain—the friendships formed here at the Green Apple often become a vital source of emotional support.
These small gestures create a safe space where members can share their burdens without judgement. The camaraderie built through shared movement and laughter becomes a lifeline, reminding each person that they’re not alone, even when life outside the pool feels overwhelming.
This is what the Green Apple is all about!
“Team Member, Louise Rose”.
