Hi All,
Kristen is doing a great job on the articles she is finding for the back page of the newsletter. Let us know what you enjoy reading about.
During COVID, helpful Nessa set up an internal Green Apple Facebook page as a form of private communication between members. We had to close our doors for 3 months, so we needed this platform. We would like to let you know that the private Facebook page created during the COVID-19 period has now been closed. It provided an important space at the time, and we truly appreciate everyone who stayed connected with us there.
The good news is that our main public Facebook page is active, welcoming, and full of updates, photos, gentle health reminders, and everyday Green Apple moments. We’d love for you to join us there — please like, follow, and stay with us on our journey from illness to wellness.
And don’t forget — our Christmas Party is coming up on November 30th at 12:00pm. We’d love to see you there!
From Illness to Wellness: why we built a different kind of Health Have
A Unique Model of Care
The Green Apple was built to be a true haven—a place where people could be referred by their doctor, then receive programs personalised not just to their condition, but to their history, mindset, emotions and overall health.
Just as importantly, it was designed to be a social hub. A supportive, welcoming community that encourages adherence, accountability and peer connection.
Conventional fitness centers excel at serving mainstream clients. Doctors prescribe and monitor treatments, hospitals run excellent, but often short rehab programs.
What was missing was a bridge—a nurturing environment with culture, expertise and philosophy to keep people engaged long after their initial treatment.
Cheers
