Hello Everyone,
Victoria has asked me to write something for this week’s Newsletter – here is my contribution.
Some gym members feel more confident and motivated when exercising under the guidance of one of our Exercise Physiologists and that is the reason we have the Training and Coaching Class (TCC).
Having a professional present not only ensures that movements are performed safely and correctly but also adds a layer of encouragement and accountability.
For those who are new to fitness, recovering from injury, or simply unsure about technique, the presence of a knowledgeable supervisor can transform uncertainty into empowerment.
It creates a structured environment where members can ask questions, receive personalized feedback, and feel supported throughout their workout journey. These classes are held on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Group Class schedule can be found on the wall in Reception.
The Green Apple offers a rich variety of exercise classes tailored to meet the diverse needs and preferences of its members. For those focused on stability and coordination, balance exercises (Steady Steps) help improve core strength and prevent falls—especially valuable for older adults. Circuit training and Aerobics provide high-energy options that boost cardiovascular health and endurance, while weight training builds muscle and supports bone density.
Mat Pilates and yoga offer slower-paced sessions that emphasize flexibility, posture, and breath control, promoting both physical and mental well-being. Reformer Pilates adds resistance for deeper muscle engagement, and Tai Chi introduces graceful, flowing movements that enhance mindfulness and joint mobility.
The schedule for all these classes can be found on the wall in Reception.
We are a family at the Green Apple and we do our best to help you help yourself in your fitness Journey of Life.
Have a wonderful week.
Louise
